In 2021, the Eighth National Conference on Comprehensive Support for Xinjiang was convened. In response to the spirit of the conference, Shanghai organized grassroots courts to implement the 'Selection to Xinjiang' program to provide comprehensive support for the rule of law in Xinjiang. Li Xianming, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court, answered the call and actively went to Xinjiang. Wang Meng, a newly appointed judge, was accidentally selected to work in Shache County, under the jurisdiction of Kashgar, which Shanghai provides comprehensive support to for a year. Soon after arriving in Xinjiang, the Shache County People's Court was disrupted by petitioners led by Li Da. Due to the pomegranate planting project, supported by Shanghai many years ago, the Huangdizhen Court, under Wang Meng's jurisdiction, took on the task of investigating, surveying, and resolving the conflicts of the masses. In the process, Wang Meng repeatedly encountered threats and obstructions from Li Da and others. At the same time, various civil disputes in Huangdizhen kept emerging, putting Wang Meng's work in a difficult situation. Thanks to the meticulous and patient work of everyone in the Huangdizhen Court, the court helped the villagers resolve difficult disputes one by one, giving play to the Fengqiao experience. With the support and coordination of Xinjiang aid lawyers, Director Wang, Commander Tao, enthusiastic people and units at all levels, the petition problem of the pomegranate orchard was successfully resolved, and Li Da found his 'roots' from Ningxia. Through various exchange activities between Shache County and Shanghai, with everyone's joint efforts, the pomegranate stagnation crisis of the Huangdizhen villagers was successfully resolved, and the mutual understanding and recognition between the two places was further deepened. The feelings of everyone in it, like pomegranate seeds, became more united and closely connected.
